What Is Alpinistas?

Alpinistas has been around as a blog and general outdoor women’s group for a number of years and we have finally decided how to better serve the female outdoor market.

 

Alpinistas is a women’s specialty outdoor store focused on bringing a curated selection of stylish yet fully reliable apparel and gear to females who are active in outdoor sports or just enjoy the mountain-life lifestyle.

 

Alpinistas breaks the mold of the traditional outdoor retail model and is solely based on the female point of view when it comes to shopping for gear and apparel.

 

We are also incredibly focused on supporting women-led brands, companies and outdoor education. 

 
What Kind Of Products Does Alpinistas Sell?
 
We’re outdoor women.  We also like to look good.  We will have all kinds of female outdoor gear here at Alpinistas but our apparel assortment will always have a nod towards fashionista thinking, as best that is possible right now with outdoor brands.  Maybe “No brown clothes.” should be our motto!  

 

We will be offering products that serve hikers, mountaineers, snowshoers, backcountry ski / splitboarding, trail running, general athleisure wear and mountain lifestyle looks.

 

Specifically, we’re talking technical shell jackets, fleece mid-layers, down & feather free insulation, rain wear, clothing with Gore-tex and other brand specific proprietary products. We’ll have snowshoes and technical outer layer pants. We’ll have base layers, other merino products and beanies, socks & hats. We’ll have an assortment of athleisure and mountain lifestyle looks for when you are not crushing the mountains.

 

You can also expect the hard goods to support your hiking and mountaineering. We’ll be focusing on trekking poles, crampons, mountain axes, ice tools, hydration…. you get the idea!

We will have the top outdoor apparel and gear brands in the industry at Alpinistas!  You can expect gear that is reliable & functional and lifestyle clothing that is on-trend.

 
Where are you located?  Can I shop in person?
 
Alpinistas is located in Reno, Nevada.

 

Alpinistas will be kicking off as e-commerce retail to start but we're looking for a retail store space in Reno!
