Most shell pants are cut for the downhill. The Stormstride is cut for both directions. Stretch 3-layer H2No fabric moves with your stride on the uptrack and seals out weather on the descent — no more choosing between breathability and protection depending on which way you're going.

Lighter than the PowSlayer, more packable, and a better fit for tours where you're covering distance. If your days involve long approaches, skinning ridgelines, or splitboarding in variable Sierra conditions, these are the pants.

Best for: Backcountry touring, splitboarding, any day where the uphill matters as much as the downhill.

Not for: Extreme deep-powder resort skiing — the PowSlayer handles that better.

Fit: True to size. Athletic cut through the hip and thigh — if you're between sizes, size up.
