I bought these for hiking, because I'm pretty rough on my gear--I like to climb things and I'm always sitting and kneeling on the ground, so the reinforcement in those areas was especially appealing. I love the deep side pockets that are perfect for storing my phone, lip balm, and bandana, as well as any interesting things I find on my hikes. They're snag resistant, fit and look great, and are super comfortable. I'm nomadic and live out of a backpack, so these are my ONE pair of leggings that need to work for every occasion, and they do. Highly recommend.
